Our favourite British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood is using London Fashion Week to launch her first-ever compilation album.
The album, Catwalk Breakdown, is stuffed with a scorching-hot selection of Westwood’s favourite tunes which have accompanied her iconic fashion shows over the years.
Summing up the music, Vivienne says, “Sometimes the music can just be sexy, it can let you relax, look at the clothes, put people into a fantastic mood. Then it might just have to swing back and lift you up to the final triumph of the fashion show.”
Westwood will show off her Red Label collection at London Fashion Week this Thursday.

Designer Julien Macdonald enjoyed a well-received show at London Fashion Week yesterday with his safari-inspired collection combining 1940s Hollywood glamour and fabulous 1970s disco chic.
“It’s a very muted palette for the summer — there was lots of stripes, lots of beige. It’s all my fantasy about going on safari. I went to Ulusaba game reserve, which is Richard Branson’s private safari place,” Macdonald told reporters after the show.
“I love women who look feminine and sexy. Even if you go into (supermarket) Tesco, why can’t you look sexy? You never know, you could meet a man in aisle 10 picking out your veg.”

The Duchess star Keira Knightley loves shoes as much as us it would seem…
‘If I see a pair of shoes that I adore and they haven’t got them in my size, I still have to have them.
‘My boyfriend Rupert Friend and I just bought a house together in Richmond, Surrey, and it might not have a lot of furniture but it’s got a lot of my shoes!’
