Last night we brought you Victoria Beckham’s identical-dress shame moment.
Now the fashion ugly girls go in for the kill with their take on the black-clash dress-situation. Miiiiiiiiiiaow!

We know that actress Cherry Jones will play President Allison Taylor in the seventh series of 24. But was she the right choice for the panting drama starring counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer?
We think not (not that we don’t love Cherry
).
The following five actresses should have stormed the White House. After much debate The Juicer presidential prize goes to Frances McDormand followed by four hot power favourites.
1 Frances McDormand (think Fargo with Jack Bauer spin)
2 Charlotte Rampling (cheekbones of steel)
3 Faye Dunaway (Oscar heavyweight)
4 Melanie Griffith (Working Girl comeback)
5 Sally Field (best actress of her generation)

Frances for president

The well-documented dilemma of A-list parties is known as identical-dress shame.
When you are the star guest you definitely don’t want to be upstaged. You definitely don’t want to be seen in the near-same dress as another. Victoria Beckham suffered her first American public identical-dress shame moment.
The welcome-to-America party hosted by Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has been the talk of Tinseltown. For all the wrong reasons.
Victoria and Katie made the I-know-what-are-you-wearing call pre party and turned up in completely different outfits (Katie billowing and red versus Victoria short and black). Then along came Jada.
Jada stood out in an almost-identical dress (minus the halterneck) to Beckham. And the look on their faces during the photocall confirms the black-clash frock blunder.
Worst still, Eva Longoria stole all the best-dressed headlines. Shame on you, pesky newlywed. It was supposed to be Victoria Beckham’s night.
Spot the difference

We know the battle between 50 Cent and Kanye West begins on 11 September.
The much-awaited date when their latest albums go on sale is now well-documented as watchers wait for a rap-star rival beef to begin.
But what about Eve? Here I Am is also out on 11 September so how about some Girl Power instead.
Eve describes the album’s production lineup as ‘the hip-hop all-star team‘; including the likes of Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Cool & Dre and gotta-have producer Neo.
Eve v Fiddy v West

Kanye West’s new album Graduation cover has been our favourite love-it-hate-it debate over the weekend.
The trade-mark sunglasses are still working hard for it. M’fraid it is a seen-that been-there look. Time for a reinvention.
Has West has lost the midas music touch or is he back for good? You decide.
Graduation is out 11 September.

Start the week with 5-a-day. Gimme some of that Hollywood yum…
1 Madonna on the tiles. One too many Cosmopolitans?
2 Kate Moss sex tape fears.
3 Rihanna. Ten weeks at the top.
4 Harry Potter. The first review.
5 Lost fans bite back. Emmy snub shenanigans.
Lost out

Springfield fever has hit.
The world premiere of The Simpsons Movie has started the excitement tremors in the town of Springfield, Vermont, USA.
Before you go head over heels in a sugared-donut frenzied cinema charge, we must remind you that the film won’t be out in the UK until 27 July.

The time of day for a wardrobe pick-me-up… (we can’t wait til 4 for this!!!)
Hold on, wait a minute. How hard can it be to get a bikini right? Mis-matching underwear for a spontaneous dip in the ocean. Rrrrrright. Britney Spears.
And if you dare follow this beach-lingerie trend you deserve to get a swordfish where the sun don’t shine. No, this is called how-not-to-make-a-splash.
Take our advice and look fabulous in this instead.
