The nearest most of us get to a slathering of St Tropez is the brown stuff that comes out of a bottle.
Not so for Beyoncé and hip-hop beau Jay-Z. The two lovebirds soaked up the fun on the sun-soaked French Riviera.
Rapper Jay-Z with the music midas touch needs a holiday after working flat-out with Rihanna (still top of the charts with Umbrella) and remixing Amy Winehouse’s Rehab.
Winehouse does rate the rapper even if she can’t remember meeting him for the first time because she was drunk. According to TSQ, she says, “(It was) really cool. He’s real sweet. I like Jay.”I remember one night we were some place and I was so drunk that Jay kept saying, ‘Okay, Amy, come on, sit down. You still with us?’” Helen

It is hot work in a recording studio. So much so Kelly Rowland had to strip down to promote her brand spanking new solo album Ms Kelly.
She also admits that her record would never be released at the same time as former band member friend Beyonce. ‘We don’t like to release albums at the same time. We don’t think of it as competition, but everyone else does so we try and avoid it.’

So it seems there is a little bit of Mrs Doubtfire in all of us.
According to one of the latest online fashion polls, the no-frills dress worn by Robin Williams (when he was the big-busted nanny in Mrs Doubtfire) has made it into the Top 10 iconic movie dresses of all time.
The number one slot went to Marilyn Monroe’s billowing white halterneck dress from the film The Seven Year Itch.
In second place was the black Givenchy dress worn by Audrey Hepburn when she starred as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. The Givenchy dress sold at auction for £467,000. Look out for more movie-inspired dresses this week at Fashion At 4pm. The Ronald

Amy Winehouse scooped the song gong of the year at the Mojo awards.
The jailhouse-tattooed singer’s single Rehab from her seriously good Back To Black album blew away the competition – and was voted for by Mojo readers.
Mojo’s editor-in-chief Phil Alexander said, ‘Rehab is nothing short of a modern-day classic.’
She out missed on the best album, however. The thumbs-up instead went to The Good, The Bad & The Queen, by Damon Albarn-fronted rock band.
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne was also celebrating with his icon award. Stevo

It had to be the shortest-lived trend ever. Didn’t even last a season. Well it is fashion, darling.
Now I won’t say it wasn’t fun while it lasted. I went Swap-A-Rama Razzmatazz in east London where you swap clothes with whoever you’re standing next to. I waltzed out with a Stella McCartney jersey dress, thank you very much.
Hot on the kitten heels of one swap shop, come many more. Y-Swap and Visa Swap are chomping at the bit to pull in the customers.
But sometimes too much attention kills a trend flat. We are not into Britney bashing but this dress-switch for the cameras made us want to unswap fast.
Don’t you dare forget Fashion At 4PM. The Ronald

The time of day when we need a wardrobe pick-me-up.
Angelina Jolie reminded us about our love affair with the little black dress. The A-list actress cat-walked up the carpet (red) at her Mighty Heart premiere in New York and looked a million dollars even though she just paid a teeny $26 for her dress. Alexander McQueen’s dress costs just a bit, ahem, more. Find a sugar daddy, sugar mummy, sugar friend… and let them treat you to this must-have…

Football matches, premieres, house moves, photo shoots and pap-dodging. David Beckham is a man on a mission. Here he is in one place for five seconds after his last Real Madrid match with his sons who are growing like marrows.
Beckham and boys

Premieres, talk-shows, red-carpet spins and hanging with Brad. Angelina Jolie is always on the trot in her Louboutin heels (we’re not obsessed with the shoe-maker, honestly. Angie wore her Lous with her $26 black dress last week). Here she is more dressed down with her kids who are, yup, growing like marrows also.
