The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be the band beneath your feet next year.

News is through that the rock band will be given a hot spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008, which is the landmark stretch of Hollywood Boulevard peppered with cemented A-list stars.

Other stars joining the Peppers include Christina Aguilera and Latin groover Ricky Martin. Angela Bassett and Oscar winners Cate Blanchett and Tim Robbins.

One minute we are watching Jay-Z and Beyoncé bobbing about on their million-dollar yacht in St Tropez. The next minute two more love birds sail onto the horizon.

Justin Timberlake and new-beau Jessica Biel have been snapped smooching on a private boat during a tour break for Timberlake. The singer who has referred to Biel as ‘just a dear friend’ was putting sexy back in business.

It might just be the best performance on a talent show ever.

Simon Cowell begs dumped Louis Walsh to come back to the X-Factor. The two music moguls famously fell out when Walsh was dropped as a judge from the show.

The Irishman was replaced by American choreographer Brian Friedman but the new line-up turned sour. The Mail reports Friedman was out of his depth as a judge on the show.

Louis is now back on the show with immediate effect but has the last word on his sacking. Talking about Simon he says, ‘I’ve forgiven, not forgotten. Now I’ve got a point to prove.’

What next? Comeback Kate? Kate Thornton was replaced by Dermot O’Leary.

The singer-turned designer felt the blast of criticism from her former boss over her new range of jeans (VBs new line was launched a few days ago).

Robert de Keyser, founder of Dekeyser Fashion, is reported to have sniped that Beckham’s designs are ‘made out of a cheap fabric’.

His company stocked Victoria’s jeans in the UK when she was working with jeans giants Rock and Republic.
